Founder Story
I am a farmer.
The AgroVistaAI™ platform is rooted in practical farming, science, family, technology, and the hope that the next generation can farm smarter.
For more than forty years, I have worked in agriculture. Over those decades I have grown commodity crops such as corn, wheat, and barley, but much of my career has been devoted to orchards, vineyards, and specialty crops.
Like many farm families across America, I hoped that one day my children would choose to carry on the tradition and continue what generations before them had built. But farming is not an easy business. Long hours, increasing costs, tighter margins, weather risk, pests, labor shortages, regulation, and market volatility can change a season overnight.
Several years ago, my youngest son came to me and said he wanted to plant a crop and grow it himself. I wanted to teach him how to think like a farmer: observe every day, track inputs, understand weather, watch costs, and learn that profitability often comes from many small decisions made well.
As a programmer, I built a small database for him. That simple teaching project became the beginning of AgroVistaAI™.
